- I was born and raised in the Shall of Mar and still have family living there. My dad teaches biology at MHS and my mom works for Northwestern Farm Management. My favorite thing about Marshall (you mean besides Applebeers?) is the parks. Here's to picking rock in 95-degree heat and shooting hoops in -15 with a basketball that won't even bounce.
